Pupils at Caversham Preparatory School were visited by Alan Kingshott, chief yeoman warder at the Tower of London. He was dreesed in his traditional uniform and the children were spellbound with stories ofhis life and the daily traditions at the Tower. Headteacher Jacquline Lawson said: “We were delighted to see Mr Kingshott in his splendid costume. The children asked some excellent questions and Mr Kingshott was very impressed with their breadth of knowledge.”
