Where did it come from?

Pupils at Caversham Preparatory School took part in an arts week

Pupils at Caversham Preparatory School took part in an arts week.

The children worked in their houses, Kennet, Thames and Loddon, to make spiders, ladybirds and grasshoppers, weave cobwebs and draw on the playground with chalk as well as creating their own insect dances.

A giant peach appeared on grass next to the playground and pupils were read Roal Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach. Amanda Grimes, English xo-ordinator said: “The children were amazed when they arrived in school to find a giant peach in the school garden. It sparked their imaginations for a week of wonderful art activities”.
