A BURNED-OUT car has been left at the side of a road near Emmer Green for more than two weeks.
The Nissan Micra was found ablaze in Peppard Road, near the junction with Tower Close in the early hours of August 19.
Firefighters from Caversham Road fire station put out the blaze in about 20 minutes using a hose and breathing apparatus.
The car was destroyed with only the metal chassis surviving.
Thames Valley Police are aware of the car and have placed “Do not cross” tape on it.
A force spokeswoman said police received a report from the fire service 10 days after the incident.
