Stolen lighting system is replaced in time for panto

Wargrave Theatre Workshop has installed a new lighting system after its old one disappeared overnight last year.

In April, the group’s lighting board went missing from Woodclyffe Hall in High Street.

Police were unable to track down the missing equipment, which cost the group £4,500 in 2012.

Chairman Stephen Farrow believes the board was stolen and says he saw it on eBay the following week.

He said: “We bought the lighting board two years ago and one day in April it disappeared from the hall.
