£6,000 caravan stolen

A TAXI driver says he is “gutted” after thieves stole a caravan worth £6,000.

Mohammed Parvaiz, 49, said the vehicle, which sleeps six people, was taken from Adams of Henley at Manor Farm in Peppard, where he has another business.

He said he last saw the vehicle on Sunday, February 9 and discovered it was missing from the trading estate two days later.

Mr Parvaiz said: “I thought I was seeing things. I rubbed my eyes and said, ‘hang on a minute, it’s not there’.

“We had taken the towing bar apart so you couldn’t possibly tow it so whoever took it must have put it on a recovery truck.
