Shopper’s appeal for stolen iPad

AN iPad mini worth almost £500 was stolen after it was accidentally left in a Henley supermarket.

Owner Barry Tindall, 52, of Milton Close, said he put the £480 device on a shelf above a self-service machine in Sainsbury’s in Bell Street at about 6.30pm on Sunday.

He then forgot to pick it up and made his way to his office in Market Place Mews.

About 20 minutes later he realised he’d forgotten it and returned to the store, only to find the device had been taken.

Mr Tindall, who owns an IT recruitment firm, said work documents as well as holiday photos were stored on the iPad.
