A HEADTEACHER has thanked members of the public who helped her after she was involved in a road accident.
Karen Edwards, of Sacred Heart Primary School in Henley, was on her way back to Henley Rowing Club with her daughter Lauren, 15, who had taken part in a rowing competition at Dorney Lake on Saturday morning, when the crash happened.
She was negotiating the tight left turn from White Hill into Wargrave Road when she was in collision with a Range Rover on her near side.
The front passenger side of her VW Passat was badly damaged.
Mrs Edwards, 46, said other drivers stopped to help and added: “It was a real community spirit — it was Henley through and through.”
