Driver’s car seized

A MAN had his car seized after being pulled over by police in Henley.

His offences included having no licence, car insurance, MOT or tax disc and having three unsecured children as passengers.

The man, who was stopped in Reading Road on March 15, was given a court summons.

On the same day, 27 fixed penalty notices were handed out to people who were not wearing a seat belt. All will have to pay a £100 fine or take an online driving course.

Two drivers were caught using a mobile phone at the wheel and will receive a £100 fine and three penalty points unless they go on a drivers’ awareness course.
