iPad mini stolen from Henley supermarket

THIS couple are suspected of stealing an iPad mini from a customer at a Henley supermarket.

Police have released CCTV footage of the pair in the hope someone will recognise them.

Barry Tindall, 52, of Milton Close, Henley, accidentally left the £480 device on a shelf above a self-service machine in Sainsbury’s in Bell Street at about 6.30pm on Sunday, March 23.

He then made his way to his office in Market Place Mews and it wasn’t until 20 minutes later that he realised he’d forgotten it. He returned to the store only to find the device had been taken.

Police say the suspects used the same till as Mr Tindall and both the man and woman were seen touching the iPad before they left the store.

Mr Tindall, who owns an IT recruitment firm, said work documents as well as holiday photos were stored on the device.

Anyone with information should call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number, 101.
