Fraudsters target mother behind Millie’s Dream fund

A CHARITY which aims to provide schools with life-saving equipment has been targeted by fraudsters.

The bank account for Millie’s Dream has been hacked six times since Christmas.

Bogus standing orders were set up and sums ranging from £16.50 to £128.10 were withdrawn.

Accounts belonging to founder Sarah Roberts and her daughter Millie, whom the charity is named after, also had money stolen.

The single mother was even threatened with bailiffs for an unpaid £500 mobile phone bill which had been fraudulently set up in her name.
