45 drivers face fines

TWENTY-TWO drivers were pulled over by police in Reading Road, Henley, for not wearing a seat belt.

They were handed fixed penalty notices and will have to pay a £100 fine or take an online driving course.

Officers also caught 11 drivers using a mobile phone at the wheel during an operation between 8am and 10am on May 22.

These drivers will receive a £100 fine and three penalty points on their licence unless they go on a drivers’ awareness course.

Twelve speeding tickets were issued to drivers outside Swiss Farm in Marlow Road between 11am and 12.30pm on the same day. The fastest speed recorded in the 30mph zone was was 53mph.
