CCTV may be installed at Woodclyffe Hall in Wargrave following a break-in over the most recent May bank holiday.
The intruders smashed in the back door and searched the building in High Street but nothing has been reported missing by the groups who use the hall, which include Wargrave Theatre Workshop and the luncheon club.
Parish clerk Stephen Hedges said: “On the face of it the thieves were looking to see if there was any cash in there.
“We have made a temporary repair to the back door so the building is secure and there’s an ongoing police investigation.
“It is in our budget to look at CCTV so we will bring that forward as much as we can.”
