Purse stolen from shopper in Waitrose

POLICE want to speak to these two women in connection with a theft at the Waitrose store in Henley.

They say the pair distracted another woman and then stole a purse from her handbag that was in her shopping trolley. The purse was later handed into Henley police station but was missing £40 cash.

The incident happened shortly after noon on Tuesday June 24.

The suspects are described as being in their mid-thirties with dark hair that was tied up. One was wearing a white top and the other a brown jacket and purple or blue trousers.

Anyone with information should call Pc Susan Bradshaw at the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
