A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a collision with a car in Henley during the evening rush hour yesterday (Monday).
The incident happened in Reading Road, near the junction with St Andrews Road, at about 5.45pm.
The male motorcyclist, who was riding a Suzuki, was conscious and propped up against a wall with a blanket over his legs before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is thought the collision happened as the motorcyclist was driving along Reading Road and the BMW estate car was pulling out from St Andrews Road. The car driver was not injured.
Police closed a section of Reading Road and redirected directed traffic at the roundabout near the Three Horseshoes pub up Harpsden Road as officers spoke to witnesses. A fire crew also attended the incident.
