Twins upset by theft of mountain bikes

TWO brothers are dismayed after thieves stole the £500 bikes they had received for their 11th birthdays.

Twins Ben and Jamie Hudson were given money by members of their family last Christmas and for their birthdays in February to buy the mountain bikes.

The machines were stolen from a shelter at Henley leisure centre where the boys had left them securely on Wednesday last week while they attended Gillotts School.

Ben and Jamie, who are in year seven, returned at the end of the day to find their prized possessions had gone and their cycling helmets on the ground.

Jamie said: “We had tied them up outside the leisure centre and they were definitely secure - I pulled the cable and it wouldn’t budge.”
