Burglars target village

POLICE are investigating a series of crimes in Goring that took place around Christmas.

POLICE are investigating a series of crimes in Goring that took place around Christmas.

Burglars stole £4,000 in cash after entering a house in Icknield Road on Christmas Eve through the unlocked front door.

A laptop was stolen from a first floor office at Pierreponts restaurant in High Street on December 5.

The front doors of Swift Ink and Goring Hair Studio, both in High Street, were smashed on December 10 but it’s thought nothing was stolen from either premises.

A window of a house in Croft Road, Goring, was smashed on December 27.
