Man attacked in street

A MAN was assaulted outside the Café Rouge restaurant in Henley on Saturday.

A MAN was assaulted outside the Café Rouge restaurant in Henley on Saturday.

The 62-year-old suffered a head injury in an altercation with another man in Hart Street at about 3.30pm.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to call Pc Gary Doughty on 101. The attacker is described as white, about 5ft 10in tall, of large build with brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing glasses, a black coat and blue jeans. He was seen driving a light blue Fiat.

A 50-year-old man from Maidenhead has been arrested and bailed to appear at Abingdon police station on February 27.
