Five people from the Henley area won prizes in a draw run by Thames Valley Police by signing up for email crime alerts.

They were each presented with SmartWater kits worth £60 by Insp Mark Harding, head of Henley police.

He said: ?Our burglary problem isn?t as serious as other parts of the Thames Valley but we all need to be on our guard. Registering for crime alerts will tell you what?s happening in your area and suggest ways to protect your home and your possessions.?

Insp Harling is pictured with the winners, left to right, John Chambers, 68, from Whitchurch; Linda Booth, 64, from Woodcote; Hilary Cox, 67, from Nettlebed; Marjo McGee, from Crays Pond; Roger Large, from Henley; Pc Vicky Sims of the Henley police neighbourhood team.
