Police hunt meat thieves

MEAT was stolen from the Co-op in Sonning Common.

MEAT was stolen from the Co-op in Sonning Common.

Police said two men of eastern European appearance entered the Wood Lane store at 4.14pm on February 18. One was seen putting meat into a green bag and the other chicken into a blue One Stop bag.

One man was in his late fifties, stocky, with slicked-back brown hair and was wearing a green jacket, polka dot scarf and black trousers. The other was in his late thirties to early forties, of average build, with receding brown hair and was wearing a checked brown scarf and grey-brown jacket.
