DANIEL NEW, of Reading Road, Henley, has pleaded not guilty to five charges in connection with an incident in the road on November 17.

The 23-year-old is accused of aggravated burglary, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intent to cause grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of public justice.

He appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday and was remanded in custody until his trial date of May 22.
