JEWELLERY was among £7,400 of items stolen from a car parked at Phyllis Court Club in Henley on Tuesday last week.

The haul included a diamond stud earring worth £5,000, a laptop (£700), silver and gold earrings (£350), clothes (£300) and books (£100).

A tool was used to smash the rear offside window to get into the Mercedes E350 at about 3pm.

The victims noticed two men, both in their early 30s, in the car park as they left their car. One was wearing a dark red and beige knitted hat and a grey anorak.
