A POLICE community support officer from Watlington has been banned from driving after admitting drink-driving during a routine patrol.

A POLICE community support officer from Watlington has been banned from driving after admitting drink-driving during a routine patrol.

Andrew Seston, 44, of Cuxham Road, drank two small bottles of red wine before pulling over a driver during a patrol in High Wycombe on April 22.

He radioed for back-up but was arrested himself because officers suspected he had been drinking.

Seston, who has since resigned, admitted driving while over the legal alcohol limit when he appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £110. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Seston agreed to complete a drink-driver rehabilitation course to shorten his ban.
