A MAN has denied assaulting two teenage girls in Henley.

A MAN has denied assaulting two teenage girls in Henley.

Gurpreet Gulati pleaded not guilty to causing actual bodily harm when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court last Friday.

Gulati, 25, of Wraysbury Drive, West Drayton, is accused of hitting the girls about the head with a belt in Mill Meadows on the evening of April 15 last year.

The girls, aged 14 and 15, were treated for their injuries at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. They were with a group of friends when the incident happened.

A trial date has been set for August 20.
