Biker hurt

A MAN was taken to hospital when his motorcycle was in collision with a van carrying prisoners to Huntercombe Prison.

A MAN was taken to hospital when his motorcycle was in collision with a van carrying prisoners to Huntercombe Prison.

The accident happened at about 12.45pm on Thursday last week at Gangsdown Hill on the A4130 between Wallingford and Nettlebed.

Police said the 55-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with minor injuries.

Eight people in the van were treated at the scene for whiplash injuries.
