Motorist seeks vandals

A REWARD is being offered for information that leads to the capture of a vandal that poured paint stripper on

A REWARD is being offered for information that leads to the capture of a vandal that poured paint stripper on a car parked in Henley.

Paul Cray, of Badgemore Lane, walked out to his silver Mercedes 300, which was parked at the bottom of the road, on June 30 to find bubbling liquid on the bonnet.

He said: “I took it to the car wash by LA Fitness and had it sprayed off when it was clear that it was battery acid or something.

“I would like to find out who did it and I am offering £200. It is my car today and it could be someone else’s car tomorrow.

“It will cost me £300 to repair and if it had been done to the boot and the roof it would be about £2,000.”

Mr Cray, who is married with five grown-up children, has reported the damage to the police.
