VANDALS tried to break into the Henley College at the beginning of July but failed to gain entry.

Double doors to the rear of the Deanfield building were jemmied open and the lock snapped.

A security-wired window was also cracked in the attempted break-in which happened between 6pm and about 6.45pm on July 1.

The vandals tried to force entry through an internal door by kicking a plate at the bottom. Despite splitting the door, they failed to get inside.
