Man fined for drugs

A HENLEY man has been fined after being caught in possession of heroin and cocaine.

A HENLEY man has been fined after being caught in possession of heroin and cocaine.

Paul Thatcher, 37, of Gainsborough Crescent, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a class A drug when he appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The court heard police stopped him in St Mark’s Road on February 22. He was taken to the police station and given a strip search during which the drugs were found.

Thatcher was fined £150 and ordered to pay £40 court costs and a victim surcharge of £20.
