A WOMAN was assaulted as she made her way home from work in Goring.

The 42-year-old was walking along a path between Lockstile Way and Lycroft Close when two men appeared.

One man blew her a kiss and the other grabbed her clothing and pulled her towards him but she managed to kick him and push him away.

Police said the men were both white, about 6ft and aged 20 to 30. One was stocky with short, dark wavy hair and was wearing jeans and a lime green T-shirt with writing on the front. The other man was slim with light brown short hair and was wearing jeans and a blue T-shirt with writing on the front. Both men were carrying large holdalls, which appeared to be heavy.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened just after 2pm on July 3. Anyone with information should call Pc Sue Bradshaw on the police non-emergency number, 101.
