86-year-old asks for return of stolen medals

A FRESH appeal has been made about the theft of military medals from a house in Henley.

A FRESH appeal has been made about the theft of military medals from a house in Henley.

The medals, which include a Royal Air Force Cross, Defence Medal and a Burma Star, were taken from the property in Northfield End between October 2011 and October 2012.

The owner, an 86-year-old woman, has renewed her appeal because they are of great sentimental value to her family. A large quantity of cash was also stolen.
