Children’s bike class

BIKEABILITY courses designed to help children brush up on their cycling skills will be held in Caversham.

BIKEABILITY courses designed to help children brush up on their cycling skills will be held in Caversham.

The two-day courses, which are organised by Reading Borough Council, will be given by professional instructors from CTC, the national cyclists’ organisation.

They are being funded by the Department for Transport but parents will be asked to contribute £10.

Children will need to come with a roadworthy bike and helmet. They will receive a badge and certificate for completing the course.

The courses will be held at Caversham Park Primary School from 9.30am to 3pm on August 19 and 20, 21 and 22 and 28 and 29 (years 5, 6 and 7).

A level 3 course for more advanced children will be held on August 23 and 30.
