A MAN has pleaded guilty to assaulting two teenage girls in Henley.

A MAN has pleaded guilty to assaulting two teenage girls in Henley.

Gurpreet Gulati admitted causing actual bodily harm when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court last Friday (September 20).

He withdrew an earlier not guilty plea at the hearing.

Gulati, 25, of Wraysbury Drive, West Drayton, hit the girls about the head with a belt in Mill Meadows on the evening of April 15 last year.

The girls, aged 14 and 15, were treated for their injuries at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. They were with a group of friends when the incident happened.

Gulati will be sentenced on October 17.
