A MAN has been fined £400 after pleading guilty to causing criminal damage at his village pub.

A MAN has been fined £400 after pleading guilty to causing criminal damage at his village pub.

James Cooper, 25, of Old Barn Close, Benson, admitted damaging the door of the Three Horseshoes in Oxford Road on July 7. He also assaulted two men that night and stole a mobile phone.

Cooper was ordered to pay £175 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
