Lorry driver arrested after fatal collision

A LORRY driver has been arrested in connection to the death of a driver in Nettlebed this morning.

A LORRY driver has been arrested in connection to the death of a driver in Nettlebed this morning.

The 59-year-old man from Kent was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after his lorry collided with a Porsche on A4130 at 6.26am.

The Porsche driver, a man from Abingdon in his fifties, died at the scene.

The road was closed both ways between the B481 and Huntercombe End, but reopened at 1.30pm.

Police also want to talk to a driver who stopped after the collision but left before they arrived.

Witnesses should contact Thames Valley Police on 101 using reference number 115.
