A LORRY driver who was arrested in connection with an assault on a parking attendant in Henley will face no further action, say police.

The 22-year-old returned to his truck in Hart Street at about 10am on September 4 to find he was being issued with an excess charge notice.

It was alleged that he argued with the town council attendant and spat in his face before driving off through a red light into Bell Street.
