Driver held over death

A LORRY driver has been arrested in connection with the death of a driver in Nettlebed.

A LORRY driver has been arrested in connection with the death of a driver in Nettlebed.

The 59-year-old man from Kent was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after his vehicle collided with a Porsche on the A4130 at 6.26am on Thursday last week.

The Porsche driver, a man from Abingdon in his fifties, died at the scene.

The road was closed both ways between the B481 and Huntercombe End, causing tailbacks.

The lorry driver has been bailed until January 29.

Witnesses are asked to call Thames Valley Police on 101 and quote the reference number 115.
