The EC135 helicopter was one of 17 operated by Bond Air Services that were grounded as a precuation on Thursday last week after one had an issue with its fuel indication system.

The operators worked with Eurocopter to identify and rectify the problem and then flight suspension was lifted on Saturday evening.

Mark McGeown, chief executive of the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance, said: ?I would like to thank our colleagues in the South Central Ambulance Service and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance for helping us maintain our emergency cover.?
