Purse theft

A PURSE belonging to a 71-year-old woman was stolen from a Henley pub

A PURSE belonging to a 71-year-old woman was stolen from a Henley pub.

The woman was in the Three Tuns in Market Place between 2.20pm and 2.50pm on Thursday last week when the red Furla crocodile trifold purse was taken from her bag, which she had left on the floor.

Police said the thief was a white man aged 25 to 30, 5ft 6in and slim. He was wearing a black coat and a black beanie hat.

Pcso Helen Anderson said: “I would like to speak to anyone who has information. There was a family sitting near to the victim in the pub who may have seen the offender.”

If you have information, call the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
