A MAN has denied assaulting the mother of his two young children.

Jamie McGarvey, 25, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday last week before district judge Tim Pattinson.

He pleaded not guilty to common assault against Jodie Trevethan on March 21 at an address in Goodall Close, Henley.

But he admitted a charge of criminal damage of a mobile phone belonging to Miss Trevethan on the same date.

McGarvey, who is self–employed, told the court he was now of no fixed address but living in Henley.

A trial date was fixed for April 30 and McGarvey was released on conditional bail.
