A REFUSE truck driver has been jailed for five years for causing a fatal crash on

A REFUSE truck driver has been jailed for five years for causing a fatal crash on the A4074 at Woodcote.

Adam Lipowski, 42, of Walmer Close, Tilehurst, was speeding and using his phone at the wheel of the 15-tonne truck which hit a car on September 11, 2013.

Ambulance worker Andy Evans, 56, from Thatcham, who was a passenger in the car, was killed.

Lipowski, who was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving, was banned from the road for five years at Oxford Crown Court.
