MORE than 20 cyclists had their bikes marked by police in Henley market place on Sunday to help protect them from theft.

Owners could choose to have their machines engraved with their postcode free of charge or to be marked with SmartWater, a forensic traceable liquid, for £7.

The event was run by Pcso Tarran Golby, who said: ?At our last event in January we had only 17 bikes over two days so this has been very successful.?
