Collision closes Henley road

A WOMAN was air-lifted to hospital following a two-car collision in Playhatch this morning

A WOMAN was air-lifted to hospital following a two-car collision in Playhatch this morning (Tuesday).

Firefighters, ambulances and the air ambulance were called to the incident on the A4155 Henley Road at 7.49am.

A Range Rover and Toyota Yaris collided just after the Playhatch roundabout. The drivers, both women, were treated at the scene.

One suffered a serious leg injury and was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital. The other had minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

The road was closed in both directions between the B478 Playhatch Road and Spring Lane.
