A MAN has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal in Henley

A MAN has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal in Henley.

Christopher Kitching, 23, from Field Road, Crowle, Scunthorpe, will appear at Oxford Magistrates? Court on July 6.

The charges relate to an incident on Thursday, May 28 when a man with a BB gun was reported to have shot cows in a field off Paradise Road at about 6.30pm.
