945 cases of identity fraud in Oxfordshire

THERE were 945 cases of identity fraud reported to police in Oxfordshire last year.

THERE were 945 cases of identity fraud reported to police in Oxfordshire last year.

The figures were released this week as Thames Valley Police launched an awareness campaign called Not With My Name encouraging people to protect their personal  information.

It is estimated that victims spned 200 hours trying resolve identity theft.
