A MAN has been jailed for two years and eight months for child sex offences

A MAN has been jailed for two years and eight months for child sex offences.

Joshua Fastnedge, 21, of Donkin Hill, Caversham, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court after being found guilty of sexual activity with a child aged between 13 and 15 and taking a child from a person?s lawful control.

The offences took place in December 2013 and January 2014. Dc Jon Nicholls, of Reading police, said: ?Fastnedge committed sexual offences against the victim, which he denied, resulting in her having to give evidence in court. I would like to commend the victim for her bravery in doing so.?
