A COACH and three cars were involved in a crash which led to the closure of a main road during the evening rush hour on Tuesday.
The A4074 was shut for four hours following the incident near the Packhorse pub at Chazey Heath after one of the vehicles knocked over a telephone pole and power lines were left hanging over the road.
Firefighters, police and ambulance services were called to the scene. All four vehicles had to be removed. No one was hurt.
Queues built up on surrounding roads and there was gridlock in Kidmore End.
