A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car crash on the B481 in Peppard.

A Peugeot and a Mini collided at about 5.15pm on Friday near the former Dog Inn.

Firefighters used heavy machinery to cut the passenger door off the Mini.

Paramedics then helped to free a man, who was in his twenties, from the car and he was taken to hospital.

Four fire crews were in attendance and the air ambulance had landed on Peppard Common but was not needed.

Traffic was passing through the lay-by outside the former pub as part of the road was closed.
