FRAUDSTERS are targeting residents with promises of a non-existent tax rebate, Thames Valley Police has warned.

FRAUDSTERS are targeting residents with promises of a non-existent tax rebate, Thames Valley Police has warned.

The scammers send text messages with a link to a website which requests personal information including bank account details.

Residents are warned not to follow links in unsolicited texts or emails or to give personal information in such instances.
