A CHARITY shop in Henley is appealing for the donation of a wheelbarrow after its own vanished.

A CHARITY shop in Henley is appealing for the donation of a wheelbarrow after its own vanished.

The Oxfam shop in Market Place used the wheelbarrow to move rubbish from the back door to a bin 50 yards away in its yard. Staff who arrived for work on Sunday morning found it was missing.

Volunteer Bruce King, from Wallingford, said: “We&rsquod had it a long time — it&rsquos an ordinary wheelbarrow, the sort that builders would use. It might have been pinched or it could have been taken by high-spirited youngsters who were messing around. It&rsquos just extremely annoying.”

If you can donate a wheelbarrow, call (01491) 576371.
