Fun to learn

Fun to learn

Excited children at Emmer Green Pre-School were cheered on by friends, family and teachers as they raced round a fun obstacle course.

The event at the pre-school, which is based in the Emmer Green youth and community centre in Grove Road, was organised by teachers to raise money for much-needed outdoor equipment. A total of 46 two- to four-year-olds took part in event and were sponsored by their family and friends to complete the course.

Pre-school Wendy Robins said: “The children had a lot of fun balancing, jumping and weaving through the course and they loved the support from family members who came along to cheer them on. Thank you to everyone who sponsored the little ones — the money will help our pre-school so much. Our current fundraising total is £350 with more money still due to come in. which is a fantastic result.”

Jack Hall, four, said: “I liked sliding down the slide the most and I liked my mummy and daddy watching me.”
