The South Oxfordshire Riding Club Show, held at the Henley Showground in Hambleden on Sunday, June 26, had more than 500 entries in seven rings of showjumping and showing classes.

There was a record turnout in the Badger Ring for riders aged 16 and under.

There were 17 entrants in the fancy dress class.

The class winners included: Lucy Barlow, from Marlow Bottom, on Angel who won the beginners jumping; Mackenzie McArthur and Moose (intermediate jumping); Charlotte Webster, from Cookham, (95cm jumping), Sophie Carroll, from Lewknor, (riding club horse), Pippa Pearce, from Aston Rowant, on Solo (ridden coloured); Tabitha Brake, four, from Maidensgrove (lead rein and fancy dress); Caroline Pluck , from Marlow, on Simon (best condition in hand and warm bloods in hand). The event was sponsored by Hall Place Equine veterinary services.
